Nathaniel had a pretty good day. He was a little sensitive and very tired at lunch. He had a hard time keeping his eyes open. He hasn’t done that in a long time. He has gotten so good at communicating now. We are able to carry on a short conversation.

Nathaniel had a mischievous day. He was doing a lot of testing – with a smile on his face. :) He had lots of hugs for his friends and seemed happy to be back.

Nathaniel had a great day. As soon as Rick walked into the room this morning Nathaniel started asking him if he could go to go to the motor room. Nathaniel is doing such a great job of communicating these days. It is such fun to have a conversation with him.

Note from Mommy

When I picked him up this afternoon, the kids were sitting at their table for snack time. Nathaniel was drinking a glass of water, then he put it down on the table. When he looked over and saw me standing in the doorway, he picked up the empty glass, threw it across the table, then stared at me. He threw it again a little while later, so I decided he was done with snack time.

When we were getting ready to leave, I noticed that he had something in his pocket – one of “the people,” a set of family action figures that Nathaniel loves to play with while he’s there. We’ll have to keep a closer eye on him now that he knows how to use pockets. :)

Nathaniel had a happy day. When we were outside I told him we would be going inside in a few minutes so he walked over to the wooden stairs, waved at them and said goodbye, then he walked over to the toy boat, waved at it, patted it, and said goodbye, then he waved at the sea serpent, and then he was ready to go inside.
