Bemis Building: Modern Conscience

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Bemis Art Community’s Spring Art Show at the Bemis Building, where you’ll find some really cool live/work spaces for artists in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood. It’s fun to see the artwork on display, but my favorite part is touring the spaces of the artists who live there.

I’ve been to this show before, but this time I brought my camera and I was allowed to photograph some of these amazing digs to share with you. I’m going to start with a place I fell in love with at first sight, especially the bookshelves. Take a look at the live/work space for Modern Conscience.

Now I want to live in a loft – one that is big enough for a toddler to play in, with office space for me and Drew, full of handcrafted modern furniture by Modern Conscience. Got that, universe? Bring me the loft! xoxo
