I want to start this list off with some support from Jamie Wieck. #The50 Things Every Creative Should Know is geared toward new graduates, but I think it’s applicable to all creatives at different stages of our pursuits. Here are a few of my favorites.

Stan Galli for United Airlines
Have you seen these vintage posters for United Airlines created by California artist Stan Galli? They make travel seem very glamorous, and I guess it really was in the 50s and 60s.
Carl Kleiner and Evelina Bratell
I first remember seeing Carl Kleiner’s photography on Trendland, when he and stylist Evenlina Bratell created a food shoot for BLEND Magazine.
Then I saw some of the stuff they did earlier for the Homemade Is Best baking book for IKEA.
…and the IKEA catalogue.
