One of the things that my girlfriends and I like to do when they visit Seattle is browse and buy from the fantastic local boutiques that we have around here. Retrofit Home has been a favorite of mine since they opened in their old Capitol Hill location. Don’t worry, Capitol Hillians….they’ve only moved a TINY bit. You don’t have to actually leave The Hill.
The cool ladies that own Retrofit Home have an awesome sense of style that you’ll see in their choice of furniture, decor items, books, cards, accessories, and tons more. They also have a gorgeous light filled space that I absolutely had to photograph.

I want a new dresser, just to be able to change out the knobs on it. Well, and because I really NEED a new dresser.
If you go in this shop, you’re not going to want to walk out empty handed. It’s the perfect place to find a cool gift…for me. :)
