The Perfect Pair of Pink Sneakers

When I buy athletic shoes, I tend to go for blacks or grays. I’ve bought this exact pair of black New Balance sneakers twice now.

These days I’ve been feeling more colorful and I want to wear something fun when I’m walking along Lake Union or Greenlake. Something pink! I’ve been planning on replacing my sneakers that I occasionally use for exercise purposes for some time now, so when DailyBuzz Moms gave me an opportunity to try out V.me by Visa at shoebuy.com I started searching for the perfect pink.

I didn’t have a V.me account, so I set that up first. The process was simple, quick, and didn’t require a lot of unecessary information. When I first heard about V.me I assumed it only worked with Visa cards, but you can enter information for any Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or debit card that you have. Once you have everything set up, you’ll be able to check out using V.me rather than entering in your credit card information and/or security code every time you buy something. The only information you’ll need to have for merchants who use V.me is your email address and password.

Then it was time to pick out my new sneakers. Obviously, I can’t just buy the pinkest of the pink. Well, I could, but what about arch support, pronation, and all that other exercisy stuff that I don’t usually ever think about? So I narrowed down my choices…FIRST by color. That’s just me. Deal with it.

Out of the ones that I liked, I did some research to find out which type of shoe best fit the exercise I’m planning to do (walking, maybe a tiny spurt of a jog every now and then), the terrain (trails or pavement for me), and level of pronation in my stride.

Are you ready to see the winner?
