My Creative Journey: Hand-Lettering Class

Like I mentioned recently, I’m spending more time on my own creative projects in addition to the work that I do helping other creative people and businesses. Thanks to one of my new clients and new friend, mixed media artist Tina Klaus, I’m going to be taking The First Steps of Hand-Lettering: Concept to Sketch by Mary Kate McDevitt next month. I’m so excited!

I met Mary Kate  at Urban Craft Uprising a few years ago, back before I started my own business. I fell in love with her Amazing Things Will Happen print, which I framed and hung right beside my bathroom mirror so I could look at it every day. And guess what? Amazing things DID happen. Now the print is on my desk along with some inspiring books that I flip through for project inspiration. I love it.

If you’ve never taken a Skillshare class signing up for Mary Kate’s class using this link will get you a $10 discount. This is an affiliate link, so I’ll get a $10 credit too. Did I mention the class is only $20? WITHOUT the discount?!

I’ve been incorporating type into my work for a while, and I can’t wait to learn how to do hand lettering. Thanks for the invite, Tina!
