I’ve got two new original abstract paintings available for sale in my shop today. First up is this gouache and pastel ocean filled square, Blue Sea, inspired by my relationship with water. I love working with this color palette, mixing in dark, midnight blues with lighter, brighter aqua and white.
Iceland Blue is a gouache and oil pastel abstract painting that blends the whites and blues of icebergs with the blacks and grays of volcanic ash. I started this painting when we were in Reykjavík this summer and put the finishing touches on the piece when we returned.
