Last week I shared my mood board for Graphic Statement, the June Pattern Observer Textile Design Lab Challenge. I really love working on these challenges because they’re a great way to build my textile design portfolio and I like the constraints of designing to a trend or theme. Constraints are great for boosting creativity, btw.
You can take a closer look at the coordinating print designs in my portfolio. I love that I was able to use a photograph of a boulder that I took on a hike as a textural background!
