Vote for My Art: Minted West Elm Challenge 2017

Hi, friends! Will you please take a minute to vote for my art in the Minted x West Elm Art on the Big Stage challenge?

Minted and West Elm will select winning art prints. West Elm will select 50 pieces from this challenge, and at least 10 of these pieces will be sold for a period of time in a West Elm store or featured in one of West Elm’s catalogs. I’d love to see my work there!

Click on the paintings you’d like to vote for and you’ll go directly to its page on Minted. You can vote for all of them if you like! Thank you so much!

Menagerie is the buzzing, electric energy of the city captured and contained in a colorful, patterned art print.
Positano Abstract Seascape was inspired by my honeymoon in Italy. True story: Positano was the Amalfi Coast spot I was looking forward to visiting most of all. Thanks to normal travel stress, it also marks the spot of my husband and my first fight as a married couple. Note to self based on travel journal: Maybe I would have fared better figuring out the bus schedules if I hadn’t been practicing Italian phrases like, "Excuse me, I would like a time machine please.” “Can I build a fire here?” “Thank you, the time machine is perfect.” I’m fun to travel with. By the end of the day we were curled up on the rocky beach staring at the sea that we'd been gazing down on during our beautiful winding walk down the hillside. All was forgiven.
Modern Topography is a print of an abstract mixed media painting with a rugged feel. The patterns and marks overlay and mesh with an earthy background.
Patterns on Pink began as a sketchbook exploration of style mixing. I wanted to blend a more ethereal background with sharper geometric shapes and lines.
Architectural uses a neutral, natural color palette and energetic geometric mark making techniques to create a structural art print.
Carnival is a bright, colorful, abstract painting with a modern, street art vibe. Geometric patterns infused with color create a sense of celebration.
Sunday Morning Abstract began as a sketchbook exploration of new-to-me color palette. I intended to use white, copper, turquoise, and black. In the spirit of weekend morning exploration, I added the purple on a whim and I liked it!
On Fire is an abstract art print created from a pastel and charcoal drawing.
