Collage of Nice café alley, Mediterranean view from Èze, and market fabrics in the French Riviera.

“I think that I just need to create and share my own ‘worlds’ more often.”

— from my journal, April 15, 2024 in Paris.

EXPERIENCING THE FRENCH RIVIERA

A small collection of the visual inspiration that became part of my soul when I visited the South of France last spring — Nice, Èze, and Menton — and a few of the paintings that were created from it.

Collage of Mediterranean views from Nice and Èze with Claim It For Yourself by Melanie Biehle.
Claim It For Yourself
$1,450.00

Claim It For Yourself was created in 2024, drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors, textures, and memories of visiting Eze, France, especially the Jardin Exotique at the top of the village.

With shades of yellow ochre, white, and blues set against a bold blue background, the painting captures the Mediterranean essence of the region. The piece features a more structured abstract landscape, evoking a sense of calm yet energetic beauty.

This canvas painting is sold unframed and comes with hanging wire pre-installed for easy display.
