Photographs exist but they don’t show what it means to have an experience.

That fizzy feeling inside my chest when I first felt truly comfortable and joyful while snorkeling in Maui.

And in the cenote/lagoon in Mexico with all the beautiful, colorful tropical fish.

Or seeing the blue domed buildings in Oia for the first time.

Or the cracked walls in Akumal.

Or that first sea turtle I saw in Maui, slowly rising from the ocean floor.

That feeling, or some form of it…DISCOVERY…goes into my work.
