Water & Warmth grew out of time spent near the sea and in the studio, paying attention to what steadies me. The paintings in this collection move through ideas of orientation and return. Wayfinder and Inner Compass sit at the center, holding questions of how we choose direction and what guides us when we stop looking outward for answers.
The surrounding works reflect moments of recognition, connection, and depth. Standing at the edge of the water. Feeling at home without trying. Allowing something to be meaningful.
