Inner Compass came out of a period when I felt like I was returning to myself. I was drawn toward warmth and weathered textures, and began to feel grounded again in my studio.
The title didn’t come until later, after spending time in Greece by the sea. Inner Compass became a way to describe how I wanted to move forward, both in my art practice and my life — choosing to be guided from within rather than by expectation.
This painting holds that orientation. It isn’t about direction in a literal sense. It’s how I choose to move.
From the Water & Warmth collection
Water & Warmth is a body of work shaped by time spent near the sea and in the studio, rooted in ideas of orientation, return, and quiet presence.
Inner Compass is available as an archival Giclée canvas print, produced with pigment inks on canvas to preserve subtle color shifts, texture, and depth.
Stretched canvas prints are professionally hand-stretched over a solid wood frame with a 1.5" depth and finished with white edges. Ready to hang.
Framed canvas prints are finished in a solid wood float frame, available in natural or brown, and arrive ready to hang.
